Report: Wife of Accused Medford Pharmacy Killer Brought to St. Catherine of Siena

Before being taken to a Central Islip court to be arraigned, Melinda Brady, the wife the man accused of killing four people at a Medford pharmacy, was taken to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center, according to a New York Post report.

The wife of David Laffer, the man accused of killing four people at Haven Pharmacy in Medford and held on charges of first-degree murder and resisting arrest, was brought to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center "to detox,” according to a New York Post report.

According to the report, Melinda Brady was taken to the hospital before being brought to a Central Islip courtroom Friday for arraignment.

Brady was accused of helping Laffer plan the robbery and driving the getaway car, and was held on third degree robbery and obstructing governmental administration charges, to which she pleaded not guilty.

Laffer was Wednesday at his Medford home and charged with first degree murder and resisting arrest. Laffer pleaded not guilty to the charges.
