Vehicle Strikes Pole, Live Wires Hit Ground in Early Morning Accident
A vehicle struck a pole on North Country Road early Friday morning leaving live wires on the ground.
A car collided with a telephone pole on North Country Road in the early hours of Friday morning, according to the Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct.
According to police, a car struck a pole on North Country Road at Howell Drive at 12:16 a.m., leaving live wires lying across the road and the struck pole on top of the vehicle. Police also said LIPA was requested to the scene.
