Patch Question: Thoughts on Primaries

The two incumbents won the Smithtown primaries on Tuesday.

Incumbents Robert Creighton and Edward Wehrheim won Tuesday's primary elections, giving them a shot at re-election for town council in November.

For the Republican line, Creighton received 1,810 votes and Wehrheim 1,695 votes, compared to the challanger Lawrence Gray, who received 331 votes, according to the Suffolk County Board of Elections.

For the Conservative line, Creighton received 326 votes and Wehrheim, received 298 votes, compared to challanger Daniel Donnelly, who received 113 votes.
