Poll: Who Has Your Vote, Tim Bishop or Randy Altschuler?

New York's First Congressional District is a toss-up once again. Who will you be voting for?

Presidential candidates took the stage recently at the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, but at home in New York's First Congressional District, a rematch between Rep. Tim Bishop and Randy Altschuler has been heating up practically since it was the country's .

. This time around Altschuler , a coup his campaign called a "game changer" when announced in March.

At the end of July, each side laid claim to a victory in preliminary polls, though no polling results have been distributed widely since then.

We've asked , and after seeing comments between Bishop, D-Southampton, and Altschuler, R-St. James, supporters fly over the past few months, it's about time we ask readers who has their vote in the local race.

So cast your vote here and let us know: who are you voting for?

Tim Bishop practices censorship. I got blocked from posting on his facebook page posting this. He doesn't want his brainwashed sheep to know that he voted to outsource BILLIONS of American tax dollars. Tim Bishop, the REAL outsourcer: http://www.independentsentinel.com/2012/09/outsourcer-congressman-tim-bishop/

Im relocating to North Carolina, because the company I work for in Suffolk is building a new Hq to hold about 1000 jobs. They got a good grant package to move and they are giving us a good relo package to go. I'm sorry but I do not see the opposite happening here in long island. I'm done, my family is done we are out of LI.

NC now is like what LI used to be in the 1990's. Reasonable housing market and affordable property taxes. Lost a lot of good RN's and NP's to NC these past few years. It's a no brainer to move. People there respect and appreciate the paycheck they get there. None of this ego crap "I deserve a higher salary and benefits cause I do xxxxx for a living." Best of luck and keep reminding the politicians and everyone else why you're there and what happened here that made you move.

Too bad Randy's worlld was in India, Sri Lanka, Philippines... Outsourcing over 20,000 lucrative jobs overseas for his own benefi,t is not my definition of an American Civil Servant. If his loyalty was to the American public, those jobs would have stayed here. How hypocritical, to now say you will create American jobs. Past actions speak louder than empty, dishonest words.
