Update: Smithtown's Main Street Closed Tuesday Night for Snow Removal

Snow removal planned for Main Street in Kings Park and St. James for Wednesday night is cancelled due to snowy forecast.

Update: According to the town's website, the street closings for Wednesday evening on Main Street in Kings Park and St. James have been postponed due to the forecasted snow storm.

The Town of Smithtown announced via its website Tuesday that Main Street in Smithtown would be closed Tuesday night into Wednesday morning for snow removal.

The town made the announcement at 1 p.m. that the road would be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., or until the removal is completed. The snow removal will include the sidewalks and street. 

Main Streets in Kings Park and St. James will be closed Wednesday at 9 p.m. to Thursday at 6 a.m., or until completion, for the same snow removal process.
