Background Testing is Paramount While Hiring Service Personnel

What you should consider before hiring a serive company

Finding a skilled plumber might not be as easy as it sounds – most people go by the first person they find in the yellow pages for convenience’s sake. However, this option could be riddled with many risks. Before hiring a service company, make sure that they are not just professionally qualified who can fix your plumbing problems but most importantly, they are trustworthy and dependable, and who can be let indoors without any fear or concern.

It is crucial that you know the credentials and integrity of the service personnel who is entering your home. The alarming number of crimes involving so-called service professionals has prompted homeowners to scrutinize company credentials and their hiring practices. Always look for a service company that employs plumbers, or any trades professional, only after checking their background. Be sure that no service professionals, with a dubious character and a shady or unknown background, are entering your home. Not all companies conduct background checks on their employees, here at Outstanding it is a prerequisite.

Choose a service company based on their skills and credentials and not only on their hourly rate. Choose a company that provides photo identification for their employees so you know who is supposed to arrive and may be able to detect anything sinister. Not all service companies drug test their employees. We do, this just eliminates complications later.
