School Supply Deals:

We obtained the supply lists, hit the local supply stores and compiled a printable price comparison chart of the most common items. For more than half of the surveyed items, Walgreens either had best deal or tied for the best deal with Staples. CVS was cheapest choice for supplies the least often, only surpassing Staples and Walgreens for bottom-pocket plastic folders and highlighters.

Summer Facilities Improvements:

The Smithtown Central School District completed a full range of  renovation projects this summer, from small additions like new vending machines to complex undertakings like the re-tiling of multiple corridors and building of a new state-of-the-art synthetic field.
