Two Smithtown High School East science teachers took home the Western Suffolk BOCES Model Schools Teacher Integration Award.
Kerry Hicks and Elaine Champey won the award, resulting in a $1,000 Model Schools grant. The grant was awarded for the teachers integrating technology into their respective classrooms and using it in instructing their students.
