Einstein Mural Inspires All at Nesaquake Middle School

Savannah and Alexis, two seventh grade students from Nesaquake Middle School, teamed up to paint a full length portrait of Albert Einstein, who in 1905, completed his theory of relativity which remains one of the most significant in the history of physics. E = mc2  , perhaps the most famous equation of all time, stands for Energy (E) = Mass (M) times the Speed of Light (C) squared.

The ambitious project, under the direction of art teacher Barbara DiSalvo, was a labor of love taking a full year to complete outside of class time. It will grace the science hallway at Nesaquake MS for all to enjoy and inspire future artists and scientists as well.
