They have been having the executive sessions at 7 pm lately. It has been updated on the district website. However NYS law does stipulate that in order to convene an executive session the BoE must first make that motion in a public meeting-so come join me and the BoE in the Board room at 6:55 to hear there agenda-very few items are even allowed for executive session-it always amazes me the words they use to get away with more than they should be.

Pam, you need to get a life! Your time and energy would be better spent with your family from 7-8 and then go to the meeting. Nobody is hiding anything from you (or the general public)!

I guess you don't know much about the school district

Oh Smitty - you have so much to learn. Please introduce yourself to me sometime at a BoE or committee meeting. How is it NYS was 28th in educational outcomes about 8 years ago and now we are 34th. Maybe the education of our children isn't important to you, but it is The Most Important issue for the posterity of our great nation. And don't go worrying about my family-we have awesome quality time together.

What is the plan to replace Scott Martella who announced his resignation from the board at last night's BOE meeting?

1) They can leave the position open until the election next May. 2) They can hold a special election for a new Trustee ( Cost $15,000) That won't happen. 3) They can appoint an interim Trustee to hold the postition until the election mext May. The board is discussing the options.
