Local to Enter Molloy College Athletic Hall of Fame

Stefanie Christian-Driscoll will be named to the hall as a player and coach in volleyball, as well as volleyball and baseball.

A Smithtown resident will be recognized by her alma matter for her on-the-field achievements in volleyball, basketball and baseball on Oct. 19 by being inducted into the Molloy College Athletic Hall of Fame.

The college hall of fame will induct Stefanie Christian-Driscoll, who not only played volleyball but was the head coach of the team in 1995, and led the team to a 17-11 record, with a record of 5-5 in New York Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

While coaching, Christian-Driscoll coached the team to a pair of five-match winning streaks as well as a six-match winning streak.
