The school competes against 36 teams in the SUNY Ulster competition.
The Accompsett Middle School Science Olympiad team took "Best New Team" at the New York State Science Olympiad Competition.
The team was one of 36 that qualified for the competition, which took place at SUNY Ulster. The took "Best New Team" for having the best score of the five schools that attended the State Competition for the first time this year.
