A Smithtown High School East senior was named a regional finalist in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
Natalie Tomacheski was chosen as a finalist in the awards, sponsored by the Scholastic Publishing Company. Tomacheski's submission made it to the top 10 percecnt of the entries, which surpassed 200,000.
