If you passed Mt. Pleasant Elementary recently and saw a carnival, you took in a glimpse of the school celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Everyone from parents to teachers and students participated in setting up the carnival and hosting its numerous events. Activities and highlights include inflatables set up by the New York Islanders organization and a performance by the Great Hollow Middle School Kickline Team.
