The Board of Education for the Smithtown Central School District will hold one of its two regular meetings Tuesday night, starting at 8 p.m.
The meeting will take place in the Joseph M. Barton Building on New York Avenue. The board will run through a rather lengthy agenda, which includes the acceptance of an Claims Auditor report from June 30, the acceptance of a contract with the Island Tutoring Center in Hauppauge, and more.
The board will meet just one more time before school resumes Sept. 4 on Aug. 28 at 8 p.m. The only other meeting left for the district other than the regular board meetings is the Facilities Committee meeting, set for Aug. 21 at 7 p.m.
