West Girl's Basketball Defeats East in Battle of the Bulls

Smithtown West defeats Smithtown East in Tuesday night's girls basketball game.

It was called the Battle of the Bulls and in the end Smithtown West girls basketball came out on top as they defeated East 42-39.

West's Sharon Bossert put seven points on the board, according to a report on Newsday. Her coach called Bossert a "true basketball player."

11 points came from West's point guard, Savannah Miller, who had five rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Point guard Savannah Miller had 11 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals to lead West. Siobhan Kehoe added 10 points and eight rebounds, and Melissa Meyers had eight points and 10 rebounds.

"Why are Smithtown teachers continuing to pay for school supplies out of their ownRead More pocket?" Since when? Ever see the big list of supplies kids get in their folders at the end of the year for them to bring in next year? I think you're talking about the wrong school district.
