UPDATED: Snow Forcing School Closings and Delayed Openings
Smithtown Patch will update you on all the local school, business and organization closings and delayed openings as information is made available.
With the snow taking over once again some local schools, businesses and more have announced closings and delayed openings. Here are the closings and delayed openings within the community thus far.
Closed
- Smithtown Christian School
- Smithtown Christian School Day Care Center
- St. James Lutheran Preschool
- Smithtown Central School District
For the Smithtown Central School District, testing supposed to be held Thursday will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. and Regents exams will not be rescheduled but will be offered in June. Also, the High School East Senior Banquet has been rescheduled. It will take place Friday at 7 p.m. at Flowerfield Celebrations in Saint James.
