Will You Attend the School Community Budget Information Meeting?
Meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Joseph M. Barton building.
Although voting on the new school budget is months away, the Smithtown Central School District is now working on a game plan to form a budget, and is set to provide the most current accrued budget information to the community Wednesday night.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Joseph. M. Barton Building on New York Avenue.
Board of Education member Louis Liguori said at the last regular board meeting that Wednesday's meeting is just one in a series of many to keep the community informed with all things related to the upcoming budget.
