John Daly will represent Smithtown and the United States as part of the U.S. Olympic team's skeleton squad at the Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

It's the second trip to the Olympics for Daly, a graduate of Smithtown High School. He finished in 17th place at the 2010 games in the skeleton competition.
