Smithtown West Bulls Football Beats Newfield, 46-19

Logan Greco continues to dominate the field scoring three touchdowns.

The Smithtown West Bulls are charging home their second major win of the 2013 lead by halfback Logan Greco. 

The West Bulls varsity football team beat Newfield, 46-19, on Friday night in front 1,7000 fans in Smithtown, Newsday reports. 

Halfback Logan Greco led the Bulls in converting a 2-point lead over Newfield at halftime, 21-19, to a blowout win. Greco rushed for 170 yards out of 225 in the second half, scoring three touchdowns. 

"The Newfield linebackers were flying over the top and making plays in the first half and we made some great halftime adjustments," Greco told Newsday. "The coaches recognized some things we could do and our offensive line opened huge holes. I just found the hole and hit it."

Greco's actions helped Smithtown West dominate the he second half, keeping the scoring 25-0. 

Smithtown West is now 2-0 in Suffolk County's Division II. Next Saturday, the West Bulls travel to play against Walt Whitman, 0-1, as of Sept. 20.
