Free Concert Season Opens Across LI
Follow our guide for where to catch these summer acts.
While beach days, hot dogs, ice cream and lounging by the pool are just a few ways Long Islanders treasure summer each year. But taking the family to a free outdoor concert has to be near the top of the list.
Most towns and communities offer these free concerts in the summer, but since there's no rule that says you can't visit another town we've put together this one-stop guide to the many free concerts scheduled across Long Island.
All of these concerts are free, but in many cases you may have to pay for parking at certain venues. It's also best to pack your own lawn chairs for a more relaxing time at the shows.
