Columbus Day Skate

Celebrate Columbus Day at The Rinx with The Smithtown Children’s Foundation hosts its Second Annual Ice Skating Fundraiser on Monday from 10 a.m. – noon for a private skating session.

Harvest Fall Festival

Borella’s Farm Stand in St. James will host its month-long 8th annual Harvest Fall Festival on weekends from Oct. 5 - Oct. 27, and Columbus Day. There are hayrides, pumpkin picking, a corn maze and more for families to enjoy.

Free SAT Testing 

The Huntington Learning Center in Smithtown will offer free SAT Prep Evaluate testing on Monday starting at 10:15 a.m. Space is limited. 

DDI Employment Open House

Looking for a job that helps others? The Developmental Disability Institute in Smithtown is hosting an Employment Open House on Wednesday, from 3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. Hiring for positions of cook, housekeeper, recreational assistants, medical support assistants and more. 

Smithtown Planning Board 

Town of Smithtown Planning Board will host its first meeting in October at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Eugene Cannataro Senior Citizen Center. Stay tuned to Patch for a preview of their agenda.
