The Epenetus Smith Tavern is one of the buildings which serve as the Smithtown Historical Society and is located on East Main Street. It was established in 1750 by Epenetus Smith. British soldiers often stopped here during the Revolutionary War. The Historical Society offers several programs for children. Call for more information.
