Smithtown Traffic Safety Department

Under Director Mitchell Crowley, the Traffic Safety Department designs, installs and maintains of all street lights, signs, traffic signals and pavement markings on Smithtown's roads. This department also compiles studies on road conditions, capacities speeds and accident history and makes recommendations to Town officials on traffic safety improvement.
