This idiot insists on burning in his backyard and the smell of smoke comes into my house, sets off my smoke detectors, and gives me headaches. I've tried to tell him but he continues to burn. It is illegal, as no open burning of any kind is allowed in the town, per town code, the town attorney and code enforcement. And the fire dept!. So sad that I will have to make a formal complaint and he will get a fine to get this to stop. I cannot do it anymore - this year I will do something. That is what summer means to me.

By the way, those self-inflating life vests cost hundreds of dollars. Convenience is not cheap.
