As much as I am an avid supporter of the arts for children, I had researched this theatre for my ownRead More children and do not feel they do all they are proclaiming in this article. Yes, the children seem to like it there, but they are blind to what is actually going on. This theatre collects production fees and does not use them for the educational value they have in their contracts with children and their families. Just a word of caution, there are plenty of other legit theatres out there!

May I share this poem dedicated to Barney and Jay and CCI You can't imagine what it's like- LivingRead More in a chair While others pass you right on by, As if you were not there. Friends that knew me long ago, Back when I could walk Have no time to call me now. If only just to talk. But with my best friend, Barney Ever working by my side, I feel like I am ten feet tall - Still holdin' to my pride. It really doesn't matter much to me That Barney is so smart, What really matters most is how He mends a broken heart Now when we go meetin' folks - Together as a team, They stop! They talk! And life is not As bad as it may seem. June Kempf

Beautiful poem June. The love that dogs give, all while asking nothing in return is incredible. MyRead More animals are my peace & joy. May you know Barney's love for many many years.....

Excuse me but you left out an important bit of information about this wonderful day (soldiers on theRead More sound 2013). Where was it held?? It was held at the Smithtown Bay Yacht Club. Many members and friends volunteered there time for this wonderful event. It was a great day. How can you write an article like this and not say where it was held. Sbyc started this has been running this event since the beginning. ( I was not one of the volunteers. But I was there to witness this fabulous day. ) this is a big piece of info to leave out. Sorry for my rant.
