Dr. Marc Taczanowski, Neighbor

I have been a Chiropractor in Smithtown since 2004 and hold multiple designations and certifications in the specialty of Sports Medicine.  I have lectured on injury prevention and management for local running groups and athletic organizations.  I have been working with the High School athletic program since starting in practice.  I was accepted into the US Olympic Volunteer Program and completed my internship at their Training Center in Chula Vista California in 2010.  In April, 2011 I opened a state of the art rehabilitation facility in Nesconset which was modeled after the clinic that I had the honor of working in for the Olympic Internship.  In October 2011, I spent 2 weeks in the Lake Placid Olympic Training Center and worked with Bobsled, Skeleton, and Luge athletes to complete my second Olympic rotation.  In February I was selected to represent the United States at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia as part of the Medical Staff. I practice with my wife, Dr. Hope Miller, our associate, Dr. Daniel Holland, and our Massage Therapist, James Remien.
