Business Brisk At The Crazy Crepe
This Main Street shop has been open less than three weeks and sales are beating the young owner's expectations.
Business at the newly opened Crazy Crepe in Smithtown has been, well, crazy.
Owner Kevin Muller said business is triple what his initial expectations were.
"It has all been through word of mouth," he said. "We have done no advertising."
The crepe shop is Muller's second.his other location is in Selden.
"Many of my Selden customers came from this area," said Muller. "It was great to get a location right here on Main Street."
Muller, 26, who has managed a few Friendly's restaurants, said he wanted to offer something different.
" There are many crepe places in the city, so I thought why not bring it out here."
This young entrepreneur said he saved his money, went to college, got a degree and decided to give it a shot.
"I love it," he said. "It is very challenging,"
