Grand Re-Opening of the Richard H. Handley Collection of Long Island Americana (Long Island Room)

Join us in celebrating the grand re-opening of the Richard H. Handley Collection of Long Island Americana (Long Island Room), The Smithtown Library’s local history archives.  The evening’s program will include an overview of the collection’s history and also an opportunity to view some of the collection’s most remarkable highlights.  Smithtown Town Historian, Brad Harris will be the featured speaker and Long Island Room librarians, Cathy Ball and Caren Zatyk will be available to answer questions about the collection.  Registration is recommended so please call the Long Island Room at 631-265-2072, ext. 233 to RSVP by Friday, June 14, 2013.
