Junior Fishing Tournament

The 11th Annual Friends of Caleb Smith Preserve Junior Angler "Catch and Release" Fishing Tournament will be held at the park [west of the Bull] on June 15 for anglers ages 5 to 12.

The event will take place at selected sites around the park's largest pond and multiple prizes will be awarded to each age group. Children 5-8 will fish from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Those age 9-12 from 1-3 p.m.
Fees per angler are $10 for Friends members and $15 for non-members. Free T-shirts and goody bags, live bait, hooks and bobbers will be provided as well as a limited number of rods. However, anglers are encouraged to bring their own rods. Junior anglers up to age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
