"I have been a member of the Folk Music Society for three years and I love it," Merrick said. "I always have so much fun and everyone here are such great musicians."

Merrick performed three songs, which were sung in both Hebrew and English.  One of her fellow musicians, "Akiva the Believer," played percussion instruments for one of her songs.

"Everybody here is so different, it amazes me," said Paula Anthony, wife of performer David Anthony. "I've been coming here about a year now, and even though I don't play an instrument, I can still appreciate the music."
