Like anyone, I am always looking for great places to jump start my day. There are numerous locations for Smithtown residents to enjoy breakfast. You have bagel places, coffee shops or even home. As a Smithtown resident there are two places that I would highly recommend to anyone.
Obviously you have the famous Maureen's Kitchen. This place is usually jammed pack with locals. Locals wait for the delicious pancake combinations, egg sandwiches, omelets or even a muffin. Maureen's is great for families, friends or even for a table of 1. The waitstaff is great, and the decor is extremely unique.
Next up is one that most may be to aware about. JT's Cornerstore. This is located right off of Terry Rd, just down the road from Maureen's. JT's has great atmosphere, a very unique and delicious menu and for locals, a place with some very tasty home fries. I am a huge fan of the Dog Leg and the famous coffee mugs.
You really can't go wrong with either place. The people in Smithtown are very lucky to have these great places.
