5 Local Events to Hit This Week

Looking for some fun locally? Here are five suggestions of what you could do with your spare time.

Are you a fan of LEGOs? DO you have a child in second through fifth grade? Why not enjoy some fun with LEGOs with them? Check out the LEGO Club on Wednesday at 4:40 p.m.

Interested in knowing more about the town’s most prominent residential architecture? Check out "History Behind Four Walls: Smithtown’s Historic Houses" Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Head over to the Ghada Girls Belly Dance Studio to take a free beginners Belly Dancing and Tahitan Hip Hop class. The class is set for Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.

Want to see a performance this weekend? Check out "Avenue Q" being put on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $45.

OK, so it's a cake, but it looks like a hamburger. How awesome is that? This event is for kids in third through fifth grade and registration is free. Event is set for Friday at 3 p.m.

"Why are Smithtown teachers continuing to pay for school supplies out of their ownRead More pocket?" Since when? Ever see the big list of supplies kids get in their folders at the end of the year for them to bring in next year? I think you're talking about the wrong school district.
