Don't Miss: Nesconset Chamber's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
The holiday season begins in Nesconset with ceremony at 1 p.m. Sunday.
It's the first day of December and time to herald the beginning of the holiday season in Nesconset.
The Nesconset Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Sunday at 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Nesconset gazebo on Smithtown Boulevard, located next door to the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Public Library.
This annual holiday event has included the recognition of hometown heros and occasionally, a visit from Santa Claus, much to the delight of local children.
The chamber also still plans to host a Hanukkah Celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. at the gazebo.
