Don't Miss: St. James Day Celebration this Sunday

Townwide celebration run from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Lake Avenue.

Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy downtown St. James and celebrate its community. 

St. James Chamber of Commerce hosts the 26th annnual St. James Day celebration on Sunday, from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.  More than 350 vendors are expected to line Lake Avenue. 

"It’s a great day with lots of good food. A lot of good opportunities to buy things on sale and experience the town," said Ryan McKenna, president of St. James Chamber of Commerce. 

Lake Avenue will be closed off to traffic from Woodland Avenue to the Railroad station. The area will be filled by a variety of vendors selling arts and crafts, home amenities, food and more. Local businesses will offers their services for sampling. 

Stony Brook School of Nursing will have a booth at this year's fair offering free blood pressure screenings while soliciting donations for their nursing scholarship program. 

McKenna said he expect between 5,000 to 10,000 people to attend, largely depending on the weather. Admission is free.
