Smithtown has Beauty and The Beast, bowling and Creation Station on tap for this weekend.

While the weather is still too cold for many outdoor activities there are many things to do with the kids within the community indoors this week – from library programs to youth groups, art showcases and more.

Where/When Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle – 1 Higbie Drive, Sunday 6 p.m.

Why go: Youth Group for grades 9-12. Hang out play games like ping pong, video games and volleyball. Come and meet new friends.

Youth Art Showcase

Where/When Smithtown Township Arts Council 660 Route 25A, St. James. Saturday and Sunday 12-4 p.m.

Why go: Local High School art students are exhibiting their work.

Beauty and The Beast Junior

Where/When Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts, 2 East Main Street. Saturday 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday 2 p.m.

Why go: Come see a Disney Classic performed by Long Island’s most talented kids.

Pricing: $15

 

Extreme Bowling

Where/When AMF Smithtown Lanes, 200 Landing Avenue Saturday 7 p.m. -1 a.m.

Why go: Disco Lights and strobe lights light the way for Extreme Bowling. Knock down the color pin up front and win a free game.

Pricing: $5.75 per game, $4.35 for shoes.
