Get ready to roll some dice hopefully in favor of new street lights for Smithtown Boulevard in Nesconset.

The Nesconset Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Casino Night on Friday, Jan. 24 from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m., at the Wind Watch Golf Club in Hauppauge with proceeds going towards additional street lighting in Nesconset.

The event will feature casino games such as Black Jack, craps, roulette, Let It Ride and Money Wheel run by professional dealers. Each person's ticket includes a full buffet dinner, dessert, coffee/tea and $200 in chips to play the games.

Each attendee will receive a raffle ticket for a 50-inch hi-definition TV and a raffle ticket for a week's stay in the Poconos. The person with the most chips at the end of the night will win a special prize.

In April 2013, Nesconset Chamber of Commerce installed street lights along the main stretch of Smithtown Boulevard. The additional lighting was installed in front of community centers including the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Public LIbrary, the gazebo and the Nesconset shopping plaza.

Many of these new streetlights have been decorated with 18-inch by 36-inch blue banners bearing an American Flag. Each banner bears the name of a local business who sponsored the banner, along with an invitation to join the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets cost $100 per person and can be purchased via the Chamber's website, here.  The proceeds from Friday night's event into purchasing additional street lights.
