Real Housewives' Ramona Singer Wows Crowd at The Wine Guy

The reality television star stopped by The Wine Guy to sign bottles of her new wine Thursday evening.

Ramona Singer, star of the hit reality television show Real Housewives of New York City, stopped by The Wine Guy on West Main Street Thursday evening to sign bottles of her new wine, a self-titled pinot grigio.

John Volpi, owner of The Wine Guy, said he was pleased with the turnout and Singer’s interaction with the customers.

“It was a great turnout, there were a lot of people here, the line was quick and everyone got up to see Ramona, she took care of them and made everyone feel at home,” he said.

Volpi admitted to being a fan of Singer’s wine after the event, saying, “it’s very smooth for a pinot grigio, it’s got a nice flavor to it.”

Jennifer Sinacore came from her home in West Islip to meet the Real Housewives star.

“She’s funny, she’s an inspiration, she speaks her mind, [and] she has a personality of her own. I love her work ethic, I love her personality, she’s crazy funny,” Sinacore said.

Sinacore said after taking a photo with Singer that her personality on television mirrored how she is in person and was pleased to have met her.

“It was awesome,” she said. “She was very polite, very nice, very warm.”

I'm sure she was nice to the person who was interviewed for the article because that night it was all about Ramona. I met her at a wedding (the wedding that was shown in the first episode this season) and she was very full of herself. Jill, on the other hand, was sweet, friendly and genuine. Just proves that they can and do portray anyone any way they want via editing.

Ramona is the real deal. Her work ethic is an inspiration to young and mature women alike.Ramona's discipline in her work out program is equally impressive; she has the body of a 30 year old.
Ramona and Lisa are role models for women young and mature. You don't get ahead by being a wallflower. Ramona is never mean on purpose and she tells it like it is. Ramona is fearless on the cat walk as well as the boardwalk. Go Ramona ! WSL

Lol, no. I will try and post the photos if I can figure out how. Funny, but I never watched Real housewives of NY so I didn't know who was who, but I texted my college age daughter who only wanted me to get a photo of Ramona because she said that's her favorite. So I approached Ramona but she didn't want to be bothered yet Jill was really, really nice (which surprised my daughter, too). And when I thanked Jill and told her I was a fan of hers now even though I never watched the show she thanked me and said she could use all the fans she could get because it had been a tough year.

You are absolutely right pj. Its comparing apples to oranges. Assisted living is for the elderlyRead More that cant take care of themselves. What noise is created. They are indoors and at the age where driving may not be an option. And the facility faces Route 25A. A main corridor that has been used as a main road for over 50 years. A road that has gas stations, bars, hospitals, nursing homes, retail stores and high schools presently on it. Why not an assisted living.

Exactly. Don't see a problem having it. Many of them don't even go outdoors.

We have an assisted living center right next to our neighborhood. For the most part it is quiet,Read More there is not a lot more traffic, it even looks nice. I will take it over another strip mall, supermarket, bar any day . Like the previous poster wrote, it serves our community.
