Room Rededication for Former Kings Park Library Branch Director
Ceremony will honor Peter McCann Gillard.
The Peter McCann Gillard community room at the Smithtown Library, named for a former library director will be rededicated on Aug. 7.
Gillard was library director for the Kings Park branch from 1978 to 1988. The room was originally dedicated in 1987. A plaque in his honor will be unveiled. The event is being held at the Smithtown Library from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
