Smithtown Community Chorus Free Summer Concert Series
The community chorus consists of local community members sharing their talents with the community. The choir is in its 14th year and its goals are to make wonderful music, improve the vocal ability and quality of our singers, and to encourage camaraderie between musicians. The Chorus is open to everyone regardless of vocal ability or experience. All that is required is a love of singing! All concerts are free and open to the public.
This year's music will include popular choral standards by Alan Menken, George Mead, Carly Simon, Rollo Dillworth, and Sean Conor Anderson. The chorus will also perform 3 pieces by Scott P Lounsbury: Dancing With Wind on Water, My People, and In Flanders Fields as well as tributes to John Denver and the Armed Forces (August 20 & 21)
