As if you needed any other reason to eat a hamburger, Tuesday is National Hamburger Day, and at least one joint in town is getting in on the all-beef-patty celebration.
Smithtown's American Roadside Burger will be giving away free fries and shakes and will offer half-price specials on some burgers.
Nearby Bobby's Burger Palace is not offering specials, but is expanding its daily photo contest on its Facebook page to five winners. Each receives autographed Bobby Flay cookbooks.
