Bethpage Federal Credit Union Appoints New Officials From Smithtown

A Nesconset resident is named to the company's supervisory committee, and a Smithtown civil litigation firm senior associate is now an Associate Director with the credit union.

In its search for two new officials, Bethpage Federal Credit Union selected two from the Town of Smithtown.

Nesconset resident Vincent Scicchitano, a former senior management member of Emblem Health, has been appointed a member of the credit union’s supervisory committee, and Barrie E. Bazarsky, a senior associate of the Smithtown-based Birzon, Strang & Associates civil litigation firm, has been appointed an Associate Director.

Scicchitano’s responsibilities with the credit union would be to help the company meet the required National Credit Union Administration objectives and activities, and to recommend and monitor policies and procedures to safeguard the company’s assets.

In Bazarsky’s role, she is set to participate on various board committees, as well as aid the credit union in meeting its financial, corporate and government policies and obligations.

“We are pleased to welcome two new volunteers to the Bethpage family,” said Robert Kelly, chairman of the credit union’s board of directors in a statement. “Both Vincent and Barrie join Bethpage with a keen understanding and ability to help maintain the stability of the credit union and support our membership.”
