New Berlin, N.Y.-based Greek yogurt maker Chobani this week issued a massive recall after people starting getting sick after snacking on mold-tainted yogurt that had a "fizzy" texture.
According to the Huffington Post, yogurt from the company's Idaho processing facility may have been tainted with a mold common to dairy facilities. Chobani has recalled all yogurt containers marked with the code 16-012 and expiration dates of Sept. 11 to Oct. 7.
The company acknowledged that some people became ill, but said it was hundreds, not thousands.
The company said the problem is "totally fixed" now.
