Lukoil to Take Over Vacant St. James Gas Station [Empty in Smithtown]
Owner says the station is set to open mid-month.
The vacant gas station at the corner of Lake Avenue and Seventh Street in St. James will soon have a new tenant.
Lukoil will take over the 255 Lake Avenue location by mid January. Tariq Mahmood, co-owner of the station, said he's shooting for a Jan. 15 opening date and that the gas station will be a full-service with repair shop and convenience store.
This would be Mahmood's second Lukoil station, the other in Astoria.
