New York Stuffed Cone Company To Be Featured on Restaurant Hunter

St. James ice cream parlor to show off its best for FIOS1.

A St. James ice cream parlor will get its 30-minutes in the spotlight to showcase its sweet temptations that have won over local residents.

Restaurant Hunter, a FIOS1 series featuring Emmy-winner Rob Petrone, will be filming an episode at New York Stuffed Cone Company on Thursday afternoon. Staff at the ice cream parlor said Petrone was on location and likely to start filming within the hour at 11:30 a.m.

Restaurant Hunter is a television serious on FIOS1 in which Petrone hunts down the best eats Long Island has to offer.

New York Stuffed Cone, owned by Dave and Lauren Saracino, opened its doors at 559-18 North Country Road in February 2013. The parlor will be showing off its homemade ice cream creations and innovative flavors, with the owners allegedly mixing up a new flavor for Petrone to taste test.

Local residents and fans of New York Stuffed Cone are invited to come down for the filming.

New episodes are premiered each week at 8 p.m. on Thursdays, according to the show's website.
