The only independent butcher shop in St. James isn't complaining about its neighbors.
Mercep Bros. Meats at 611 Lake Avenue is the sole tenant in the small building where it operates, flanked on either side by empty storefronts.
That includes the shell of the former Rich Rewards Catering.
The empty spaces are now listed for lease by American Real Estate Associates for $2,500 a month.
