Commack resident Roseann Zarra, 67, was pronounced dead at Stony Brook University Medical Center late Thursday evening, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, Zarra was making a left turn from the westbound lane of Veterans Highway onto Tern Place, when her vehicle was struck by a 2011 Ford Mustang being driven eastbound on Veterans Highway by Raymond Orofino at 5:30 p.m.
