Storm has brought debris to some of our favorite spring and summer spots, let's make sure it doesn't stay this way.
If you've taken a walk along Short Beach in Nissequogue recently or a number of local pocket parks you'll see something that needs to be remedied before the spring really hits – litter.
Much of the debris along Short Beach are things washed ashore during recent storms, while garbage at other Town of Smithtown parks has been sitting for quite some time.
So why not help out and pick up a piece of trash or two?
