Joseph Reinhart, Former Highway Department Foreman, Dies

Two visitation times are set for Friday.

Longtime shop foreman for the Smithtown Highway Department and St. James resident Joseph Reinhart has died. 

According to a Newsday obituary, Reinhart passed away Jan. 8. 

Reinhart is survived by his daughters Lynn, Mary Kate, Beatrice, Susan, Helen, Karen & Kristine; and sons Joseph, William and James. The late Reinhart was the grandfather of 20 and great grandfather of nine children.

Visitation will be held at the St. James Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., with the funeral mass set for Saturday at 10 a.m. at Sts. Philip & James R.C. Church.
