The summer is winding down, temperatures are dropping, and the racks in department stores, pharmacies and supermarkets are filling up with back-to-school related items.
Breaking the cycle of waking up late and heading over to the beach isn't easy, but with school a couple weeks away some parents find it necessary to start the back-to-school process now. Some parents do it by waking their kids up early like they were already in school, others do lots of shopping for supplies to remind their kids that school is coming soon, and there are numerous other ways to prep for school and avoid the initial summer-is-over shock.
